Webasto heating solutions for trucks keep drivers warm, even when the vehicle is stationary and without the engine running. This saves fuel and emissions. The parking heaters can also preheat the engine so that it starts even in extremely cold outside temperatures, thereby saving fuel. For electrically powered trucks, we recommend our reliable, compact high-voltage heaters.

Heating solutions for fuel-powered trucks
To heat the cab when stationary, you can choose between an air heater and a water heater. Our Air-Top models heat the air directly with a heat output of between 2 and 5.5 kW and blow it into the interior. The air outlet is variable and can be located under the driver's seat or in the sleeping area, for example. Water heaters are integrated into the vehicle's coolant circuit. Once the coolant is warm, air is heated, which then flows into the passenger compartment via the vehicle fan.
In addition, the heaters can preheat the vehicle engine so that it starts more easily and requires less fuel. Webasto water heaters are available with 5 to 35 kW heat output.
Webasto offers a wide range of applications and parts for individual original equipment and retrofit solutions for both air and water heaters. They can be integrated into 12 and 24 V environments and also heat with alternative fuels such as HVO and GtL. The devices are as small, light, quiet and robust as possible for the respective device class in order to keep installation spaces flexible, save fuel and ensure a long service life. There are versions with an Arctic Start function for particularly cold environments with temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius and automatic altitude adjustment up to 5,500 m.

Heating solutions for electric trucks
For battery electric trucks, Webasto offers extremely efficient high-voltage heaters (HVH) with heating outputs between 5 and 12 kW. With their clever stratified heating technology, the HVHs convert direct current into heat with virtually no loss. All models are ISO 21434-compliant, but differ in terms of voltage, communication interfaces and service life. Thanks to their extremely compact design, the HVHs require very little installation space. They can heat both the cabin and the vehicle batteries, increasing their service life and range.
