The place Utting

Utting am Ammersee is one of the most beautiful places around the Ammersee. This is why the community of Utting is often described as a true pearl. The Lake Ammersee is a popular vacation region in Bavaria and offers numerous outdoor activities such as swimming and other watersports, hiking, climbing and cycling.

Our workplaces in Utting

With a total area of 45,060 m2, the Utting plant is Webasto's headquarter for production of roof systems. The products include panoramic, sunroofs and fixed glass roofs.

 

Around 13 fully loaded trucks leave the plant every day on their way to the OEMs. The roofs form an important basis for every vehicle and they are therefore essential for a smooth and comfortable driving experience.

Main production plant for roof systems

Our plant in Utting is the headquarter for the production of our roof systems. Nowadays, roof systems are more than just an "opening" the roof.

 

We are therefore starting a new technological era in our production site with innovative and creative roof concepts.

Connection of our location 

Thanks to its close distance to the highway, the location is very easy to reach from other Webasto sites. Furthermore, our production site is also very easy to reach from the surrounding area.
